📍 About the Position

The DOCJT is hiring full-time Housekeepers for its Richmond Campus. As a Housekeeper, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for training spaces, dormitories, offices, and common areas.

This is more than just a cleaning job — it’s a chance to support law enforcement training and ensure trainees, staff, and guests have the best possible experience every day.

🧹 Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include:

Cleaning training spaces, restrooms, dorm rooms, offices, and public areas.
Performing floor care, washing, sanitizing, polishing furniture and fixtures.
Removing trash, cleaning windows, stocking supplies.
Operating washing machines and related equipment.
Keeping all tools, equipment, and supplies clean and stored properly.
Following safety and cleanliness standards.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team that takes pride in keeping the campus spotless and ready for daily operations.

✅ What You’ll Need

Good news! No prior education or experience is required — but if you have housekeeping experience, strong time management, or good customer service skills, that’s a plus.

Other helpful skills include:
✔️ Ability to follow detailed instructions.
✔️ Able to lift heavy items and work on your feet for long hours.
✔️ Valid driver’s license.
✔️ Comfortable working with cleaning supplies and laundry equipment.

💰 Pay & Benefits

Starting salary is $26,430.24 annually, with overtime pay eligibility for extra hours.
