Application Guidelines

1. How to Apply
   Download the application form from the official NSIC website: https://nsic.punjab.gov.pk or obtain it from the HR Department of NSIC.
   Submit the duly filled application form along with attested copies of all relevant documents (including equivalence certificates where applicable) to the HR Department, Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology, Sargodha by 24 September 2026 (Thursday) till 2:00 PM.
2. Eligibility Criteria
   • Candidates from all over Pakistan can apply for Senior Consultant, Consultant, and Junior Consultant posts.
   • For all other posts, only candidates holding domicile of Punjab are eligible.
   • Government employees must apply through proper channel.
   • Equivalence certificates (HEC, PM&DC, or erstwhile PMC) must be provided where required. Failure to produce them at the time of interview will result in cancellation of candidature.
3. Age & Quota Policy
   General age relaxation in the upper age limit will be admissible as per Government of Punjab policy.
   Quotas will be observed as per Government rules (5% for minorities, 3% for persons with disabilities).
4. Selection Process
   Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The Competent Authority may conduct a screening / written test for any post. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
5. Terms & Conditions
   • Posts are on a lump-sum contract basis for a period of three (03) years.
   • Appointment is subject to verification of educational degrees and experience certificates (cost to be borne by the candidate).
   • Institutional practice will be allowed as per NSIC regulations; private practice outside the institute is not permitted.
   • The Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel, increase, or decrease the number of posts at any stage without assigning any reason.
6. Grievance Redressal
   Candidates having any grievance at any stage may submit a written application to the Dean within 03 days after display of the list on the website/notice board of NSIC.

Important Tip for Applicants
Prepare a complete set of attested documents (degrees, experience certificates, CNIC, domicile, research papers, PM&DC/HEC registration, etc.) well before the deadline.
