Education / Qualification
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international University / College / Institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities
As a Teller (OG-III) you will handle core cash and counter operations, including:
- Receive, verify, count and process cash deposits and withdrawals accurately according to the Bank’s procedures and authorization limits.
- Sort, authenticate and manage currency notes (including identifying counterfeit, defective and unfit notes) as per SBP directives.
- Maintain adequate cash availability for daily transactions and ensure compliance with prescribed cash holding limits.
- Process remittances, utility bills, government receipts/payments and other authorized collection transactions within prescribed turnaround times.
- Process and forward cheques and other negotiable instruments as per procedures, authorization limits and regulatory requirements.
- Handle authorized funds transfers and ATM-related transactions (including cash replenishment where assigned) with proper reconciliation.
- Balance daily cash transactions, reconcile physical cash with system-generated reports, and maintain accurate cash books and records.
- Perform assigned cash vault duties (safe custody, sorting, balancing and movement of cash) under dual-control and security procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions in the Bank’s systems with complete supporting documentation.
- Provide courteous, efficient and timely counter services; address routine customer queries and escalate complex matters.
- Ensure compliance with SBP regulations, Bank policies, AML/CFT requirements and Shariah principles (where applicable), and promptly report suspicious or unusual transactions.
- Adhere to operational controls, authorization limits and security procedures, and rectify audit observations related to assigned responsibilities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor(s).
