Medical Branch (Specialists) – SPSSC

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Pakistani Citizen (Male/Female)

• Age Limit: 25 – 35 Years (as of 15 October 2026)

• Rank: Squadron Leader

• Training Duration: 24 Weeks at PAFAA

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess specialization recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) in one of the following fields:

• Eye Specialist

• Anesthetist

• Radiologist

• ENT Specialist

• Psychiatrist

• Neuro Surgeon

• Orthopedic Surgeon

Accepted qualifications include:

• FCPS

• FRCS

• MRCP

• FRCR

• MRCS

• American Board Diplomas (relevant specialties)

Medical Branch (GDMOs) – SPSSC

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Pakistani Citizen (Male/Female)

• Age Limit: 25 – 35 Years

• Rank: Flight Lieutenant

• Training Duration: 24 Weeks at PAFAA

Qualification

• MBBS Degree (PMDC Recognized)

• Minimum 1st Division or Equivalent

• One-year House Job completed from a PMDC-recognized institution

Preference will be given to candidates having relevant field experience after house job.

Selection Procedure

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

1. Online Registration

Submit your application through the official PAF recruitment portal.

2. Intelligence Test

Candidates will appear in:

• Verbal Intelligence Test

• Non-Verbal Intelligence Test

3. Initial Medical Examination

Conducted at PAF Information & Selection Centers.

4. Physical Test

Basic physical fitness assessment.

5. Interview

Initial interview conducted by PAF officials.

6. Psychological Assessment

Shortlisted candidates will undergo psychological testing.

7. AHQ Selection Board Interview

Interviews may be conducted in:

• Rawalpindi

• Lahore

• Karachi

8. Final Medical Examination

Conducted at the Combined Medical Board (CMB), Lahore.

9. Final Selection

Selection is based strictly on merit.

Ineligibility Conditions

Candidates will not be eligible if they:

• Have been rejected twice by ISSB.

• Have been dismissed or debarred from government service.

• Have a criminal conviction.

• Have been declared permanently medically unfit.

• Left any armed forces training institution on disciplinary grounds.

• Are medically unfit due to Hepatitis B or C.
